The pizza is great and the staff is friendly and the pizza is fresh, hot, and cooked pretty quickly. We last had Marianne's Marghareta pizza. It was flavorful and not heavy. We probably ate too much but the flavors were enticing...maybe addictive. Oddly at the end of a long weekend they were short on mozzarella cheese, so they called to check if adding provolone was acceptable. I said yes and wow, an accident recipe resulted in a super great cheese combo layer...nice to know...may ask for that again. Oh, their prices are reasonable and they usually have coupons in the weekly mailer sent to the community. Check them out! Oh, we ate a lot before I stopped to get a photo...but now you see a nice profile view and proof that a bunch of it at least left the package!
Quaint little pizza spot, but man, is it worth a taste! The best croutons I've ever eaten... great spot for a date with some outdoor seating.
Really awesome pizza. We got the deluxe with half black olives. The crust was crispy and held up to all the toppings. The staff was really nice. They were very busy and were training a young new girl who took our order. The only constructive criticism I can offer them is when someone orders a large pizza, ask and confirm the size they want. We wanted a 16" but only received a 14" because their large is really their middle size. We really wanted XL. Oh well, we'll know next time. I would highly recommend giving them a try.
Hands down, the best pizza I've eaten in years. After having Uncle Leo's after a late night play one evening, my family and I mostly order Uncle Leo's. Cheese, meaty, thin-crust, and tasty pizzas.
The South Country, St. Louis area has some steep competition. There are numerous top quality pizza restaurants to choose from and among the best Uncle Leo’s has to be considered a contender.
Light, airy crust with enough substance to hold to the toppings but still light and flaky. That crisp crunch is fantastic!!!
St. Louis provel cheese and a delicious sauce that is not overly sweet and well balanced. We had a bacon pie and a sausage, both were cooked perfectly and quite tasty, couldn’t pick a best between them.
Notice the box and liner, this is definitely not a greasy pizza.
We also chose an order of Spinocci; wontons filled with a delicious Spinach Artichoke Dip and the accompanying homemade pepper jelly was a perfect complement.
Great staff, priced appropriately and will definitely be back.
First time visit, everything was great. We had a pie, wings, toasted ravioli, and garlic cheese bread. Crispy thin crust was crispy, the wings normal size, ravioli was well cooked but still tender, and good cheese bread. The service was excellent, friendly staff. Was worth the drive, we would rather support an excellent family business over a 'decent' chain pizzeria any day.

The spinocchi were unique. Definitely an unusual appetizer, but we both liked them. The pepper jelly was tasty. We ordered pepperoni & mushroom and ate in the restaurant. :) It was constantly busy, but we didn't feel crowded. Nice crunch to the pizza, plenty of sauce and cheese. A very good pizza, worth a return trip.
Great pizza! This comes from my husband and I who grew up around great pizza and are not easily won over by pizza places. We had a little of a wait but it was on a Sunday late afternoon when things would be getting busy. They explained how long it could be and we were fine to wait to try. My husband had seen it driving and we made our decision to try after looking at their website and reviews. Most STL pizza places get their crust at Romas Deli and think they can call their offerings pizza. They didn’t do that, I could be wrong but I could even sense the cornmeal slightly on my fingers after I had a piece.
Will order again. Also liked the wings. Had a little sweet stickiness to them.
